How Was The Fourth Season?
The Protector Season 4 is now available on Netflix. Since this is the series’ final run, we think it’s fitting to celebrate the show’s whole run. We initially encountered Hakan when he was working as a shopkeeper and occasional con man. After his father’s death, things begin to shift in his life. Then Hakan meets Kemal and Zeynep, the Loyal Ones. They are members of a long-standing secret order that has been tasked with protecting the town against immortals. Hakan, with the help of the talismanic clothing that grants him mystical powers, is a protector who can destroy the immortals. Faysal Erdem, the main immortal, tried to use Hakan’s blood to resurrect his dead girlfriend Ruya.
There were hints galore in the previous season. The series concluded with a slick twist, capping off the rare fantasy exhibitions. Everyone who has followed the show through the seasons has seen how close Hakam and Zeynep have become. To show her continued allegiance to the immortals, Zeynep had to undergo the immortal “treatment,” which made matters more problematic than they already were. After having an affair with Burak, she murdered him. Zeynep’s killing spree lasted for quite some time, and eventually, she was hailed as a hero. Hakan and Zeynep had things under control by the end of the fourth season. Hakan returned to his job, and Zeynep assumed the role of professor.
The fourth season’s dual narratives covered the Ottoman Empire’s history from 1459 to the current day. The narrative was excellent and well-defined. The antagonists were given due respect in the fourth season, making them seem more like lost souls than mindless bad guys. The show’s audience appears to be pleased. The Protector’s critical acclaim and impressive viewership suggest that Netflix will soon add more Turkish series to its library.
