Since there has been no word on the show’s renewal or cancellation, it’s impossible to say whether or not the pilot episode was successful. The launch of the first season is set for March 10, 2022, on AMC; depending on the quality of the story, it might be the network’s most successful or most disappointing series ever. That Dirty Black Bag Storyline
In his most recent assignment, a spaghetti western series called That Dirty Black Bag, Dominic Cooper trades in his church collar and tailored spy suit for the sheriff’s star. The production of BRON Studios and Palomar’s That Dirty Black Bag has begun, and the album will feature recordings made in Italy, Spain, and Morocco. The eight-day battle between Arthur McCoy (Cooper) and Red Bill (Douglas Booth) is chronicled in That Dirty Black Bag. McCoy is our white hat, a hard sheriff with a dark history, and Red Bill is our legendary abundance tracker with a penchant for beheading victims and putting them in a black bag. In addition to Cooper and Booth, the cast also includes Guido Caprino, Christian Cooke, Paterson Joseph, Rose Williams (Sanditon), Zoe Boyle, Ivan Shaw, Eugene Brave Rock, Anna Chancellor, Aiden Gillen (Game of Thrones), and Travis Fimmel (Vikings), among others.
Spy City alumnus Cooper brings energy and charisma to the lead role here, and Marvel’s What If… Stall promises to be a formidable foe for Cooper’s McCoy. She’s been on the up-and-up for a while now, thanks to small roles in critically acclaimed films like Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, Loving Vincent, and The Dirt; she’ll also be in Terrence Malick’s upcoming film, The Way of the Wind.
