Rebecka Martinsson Season 3 Plot
Rebecka is having second thoughts about her decision to remain in Kiruna some years after the events of Season 1. Four complex cases, each spanning two episodes, are introduced to the efficient, unconventional, and vigorous prosecutor. A young guy dies from a drug overdose; a long-standing family dispute escalates into violence; a cold case that has been unsolved for 16 years is reopened; and the bodies of a mother and her newborn are found in a car during a snowstorm.
Rebecka forms good relationships with her coworkers at the police station, but she is concerned about her elderly next-door neighbor, Sivving. In the meantime, she has to decide whether or not she wants to return to Stockholm after feeling guilty about her parent’s untimely deaths. Season 3 will feature several new cases based on Seb Larsson’s acclaimed books, all of which take place in Kiruna and follow Rebecka on her path to self-discovery.
