On October 26, 2022, Netflix said that Raising Dion had been canceled and would not be getting a third season. On Instagram, actress Sammi Haney confirmed the news: “Thank you for all the amazing support we got from our wonderful fans! Season 2 was a success equal to Season 1.”
The young actors were attempting to get the show renewed, and they said that the best way to do that was to watch Season 2 as soon as it came out on Netflix (within 30 days). In a video posted to Instagram, Sammi Haney, Ja’Siah Young, Gavin Munn, and Griffin Robert Faulkner said that this would be “the fastest and safest way” to make sure there would be another season.
Young said, “If enough people watch it and share it, we’ll quickly renew for a third season,” Fans who wanted more content were told by the stars to act right away. Raising Dion is a popular American streaming superhero drama TV show. The story is about a woman named Nicole. After her husband Mark died, she takes care of her son Dion. The usual drama of being a single mom with a son is made worse by the fact that Dion has a number of magical, superhero-like skills. Tevin will probably keep his job as Dion’s trainer for being a powerful superhero. Lastly, season 3 of Raising Dion will probably show Dion’s transition into pre-teen and teen life and all the problems that come with it, as well as Nicole’s, finding it difficult to raise her superhero son. Fans can anticipate even more action in Raising Dion season 3 if/when it is confirmed. The trailer and episodes of season 2 were both very exciting.
