After the long-awaited release of Raising Dion season 2 on Netflix, many fans of the superhero drama series are eager for news and details about a possible Raising Dion season 3. Between the first and second seasons of Raising Dion, fans had to wait for a little over two years. The second season premiered on Netflix in October 2019. Due to problems caused by the pandemic, there was a long time between seasons. Raising Dion got average reviews when it first came out. The superhero show isn’t part of the Marvel or DC universes, but it is based on a 2015 comic by Dennis Liu with the same name.
When Raising Dion season 2 came out on Netflix in February, Dennis Liu was in charge of it more than he was in the first season. The Crooked Man’s first host, Pat (Jason Ritter), was defeated, but Dion (Ja’Siah Young) learns that energy doesn’t die; it just changes form as the crooked energy takes over Brayden, a classmate (Griffin Robert Faulkner). In the meantime, Tevin (Rome Flynn), Dion’s new trainer, quickly becomes a romantic interest for Dion’s mother Nicole (Alisha Wainright). Season 2 of Raising Dion also looks at the new powers Dion gets at Biona.
Raising Dion Season 3 Renewal Status
On October 26, 2022, Netflix said that Raising Dion had been canceled and would not be getting a third season. On Instagram, actress Sammi Haney confirmed the news: “Thank you for all the amazing support we got from our wonderful fans! Season 2 was a success equal to Season 1.”
The young actors were attempting to get the show renewed, and they said that the best way to do that was to watch Season 2 as soon as it came out on Netflix (within 30 days). In a video posted to Instagram, Sammi Haney, Ja’Siah Young, Gavin Munn, and Griffin Robert Faulkner said that this would be “the fastest and safest way” to make sure there would be another season.
Young said, “If enough people watch it and share it, we’ll quickly renew for a third season,” Fans who wanted more content were told by the stars to act right away. Sami Haney, who plays Esperanza on the show, also posted a video on Twitter in which kids explain how viewers can help get a third season of Raising Dion.
IMDb says that for almost a month, Raising Dion was one of the most-watched Netflix shows. The first season was in the top 17, and the second season was in the top 70. Raising Dion has a strong and loyal fan base. Nearly 32 million accounts watched it, and 60% of them were from outside the US. Many reviews say that people love this show because it takes them to such a fantastical place.
Our superhero series was a hit right from the start. The first season became one of the top 17 most-watched shows on IMDb very quickly, and the popularity of the show only grew with each new season. Our number of fans around the world keeps going up. We’re almost at 32 households, and 60% of our fans live in the USA.

Raising Dion Season Recap
Raising Dion is a popular American streaming superhero drama TV show. The story is about a woman named Nicole. After her husband Mark died, she takes care of her son Dion. The usual drama of being a single mom with a son is made worse by the fact that Dion has a number of magical, superhero-like skills. With the assistance of Mark’s best friend Pat, Nicole must keep Dion’s abilities a secret and protect him from people who want to use him while she tries to figure out where they came from.
Then, in the second season, the evil energy takes over and gives Brayden his power (Griffin Robert Faulkner). Again, Dion, his family, and his friends are the only ones who can stop it from hurting anyone else. Again, Dion and Nicole can take on the bad energy and keep it away from Brayden. Also, the fact that Pat is still alive gave season 2 of Raising Dion a great new turn. In the second season of Raising Dion, the Crooked Man is not Pat.
Raising Dion Season 3 Plot
The end of the second season of Raising Dion was less suspenseful than the end of the first season. Since the energy of the Crooked Man can’t be destroyed yet, it will definitely try to infect more people. Even though Dion and Nicole were able to stop the effects of the flower at the sinkhole, the Crooked Man’s energy will still live on and eventually take over another person. Tevin will probably keep his job as Dion’s trainer for being a powerful superhero. Lastly, season 3 of Raising Dion will probably show Dion’s transition into pre-teen and teen life and all the problems that come with it, as well as Nicole’s, finding it difficult to raise her superhero son. Fans can anticipate even more action in Raising Dion season 3 if/when it is confirmed. The trailer and episodes of season 2 were both very exciting.
Where can I watch Raising Dion?
You can watch the first two seasons of Raising Dion: Season 3 on Netflix, so season 3 will also be on Netflix. Fans of Raising Dion are looking forward to season 3 and would like to know more about it. No one knows yet if Raising Dion will have a third season. If it gets made, you can probably watch it on Netflix, just like the first and second seasons.
Raising Dion Season 3 Release Date
Since all we know about Raising Dion Season 3 right now are rumors, it’s hard to guess when it will come out. Even more so when we don’t know if the new season will occur at all. Fans are also disappointed that there is only a 50% chance that Raising Dion Season 3 will come soon, and the fact that nothing official has been said about it makes things even less clear. Even though the official Twitter accounts talked a lot about the show and how popular it has become, there were no hints about a new season. This can be especially disappointing for fans.
