Lisette Olivera will not be returning to Disney+ anytime soon. According to Deadline, the streaming service has decided not to order a second season of National Treasure: Edge of History. Despite a promising ensemble and respect for the original films, the TV series adaptation of the popular film franchise led by Nicolas Cage eventually failed to win over moviegoers.
After its premiere, the show received a respectable amount of attention, however, exact numbers are unavailable. Although it was critically panned, it made up one of only two Disney+ originals outside the MCU and Star Wars to break into the Nielsen streaming rankings at any time in its run. Edge of History was panned by reviewers and viewers alike, receiving a 38% critical score and a 49% audience score.

National Treasure: Edge of History was produced by husband-and-wife team Cormac Wibberley and Marianne Wibberley and made its debut on Christmas Day, 2022. National Treasure: Edge of History Season 1 concluded on February 8, 2023, but viewers are eager to see if the show will return for a second season.
