TVN aired the Korean drama series ‘My Mister,’ which was full of warmth, from March 21 to May 17, 2018. Kim Won-seok, who directed the series, received a lot of praise for his work, and the show ended up winning the Best Drama award at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards. In ‘My Mister,’ we follow two people whose shared hardships have brought them together in a surprising and profound way. Let’s see if we can confirm ‘My Mister’ for a second season.
My Mister Season 2 Renewal Status
The second season of “My Mister” has not been officially confirmed. We’ve grown accustomed to the idea that most K-dramas do not receive sequel seasons, but ‘My Mister’ appears to be an exception. The first season of ‘My Mister’ ended with a cliffhanger, which is unusual for a Korean drama.
If the show is picked up for a second season, there is always more to discover. Unfortunately, the open ending may be permanent because K-drama productions are rarely renewed.
My Mister Season 2 Release Date
The first season of My Mister was a huge hit in 2018. On March 21, 2018, it made its premiere on television. Due to the cliffhanger nature of My Mister, a continuation of the series is to be anticipated. No such advancement has been confirmed by the production. Usually, K-dramas don’t have seasons, but this one could be an exception.

My Mister Season 2 Plot
In ‘My Mister,’ IU plays Ji-An, a young lady who is deeply in debt and must work multiple jobs to support her deaf and ill grandma. She takes a temporary position and bonds with her gloomy boss Dong-Hun (Lee Sun-Kyun).
Their situation pushed them closer together. The two were in a much better place at the series’ conclusion. In the last scene, they shake hands and say they’ll see each other again. Ji-An is now a more self-assured adult. Dong-Hun is obviously captivated by this new Ji-An, and she definitely feels the same way about him.
If the program is picked up for a second season, it will likely pick up just where the first season left off with that cliffhanger. After seeing how well Ji-An and Dong-Hun get along, we have high hopes for their relationship.
