Bob Gannaway’s Monsters at Work is a popular American computer-animated web series. Kevin Deters will take over as executive producer for Season 2 from Bobs Gannaway, who served in that capacity for Season 1.

Monsters at Work Season 2 Release Date
The release of Monsters at Work Season 2 has been set for 2023. The good news for those who enjoy a diverse cast of monsters; the bad news is that we have no concrete information about when the children’s series will premiere. The second season of Monsters at Work was announced in June of 2022, so we can assume that it will premiere sometime in the first half of 2023. This suggests that we may soon hear some news.
Monsters at Work Storyline
Tyler, a recent Scare Major alum who lands a job at Monsters, is the main character of the first season of Monsters at Work. Since the introduction of laughing gas, Tyler’s abilities have become obsolete. Then, Tyler develops an appreciation for humor and resolves to study it further so that he may make a living doing stand-up. Working beside his idols Mike and Sulley would be a dream come true for him.
In the season finale, Tyler is promoted to the Laugh Floor as the group’s official comic. It has been said that Monsters at Work will adopt a more contemporary style for its second season. New challenges await Tyler in his stand-up comedy career. Boo will return, and he and Sulley will work together once more. Mike and Sulley’s dynamic changes as soon as Boo walks in.

- Bonnie Hunt as Ms. Flint: A monster who runs the simulation room at Monsters, Incorporated.
- Curtis Armstrong as Mr. Crummyham: A monster with Gecko-like abilities who is a supervisor at Monsters, Incorporated.
- Jennifer Tilly as Celia Mae: Mike’s one-eyed and snake-haired girlfriend who has been promoted from Monsters Incorporated receptionist to Laugh Floor supervisor.
- Bob Peterson as Roz: The leader of the Child Detection Agency who previously was undercover as a secretary at Monsters, Incorporated.
- Stephen Stanton as Needleman and Smitty: Two workers of Monsters, Incorporated that operate the Door Shredder. They were originally voiced by Dan Gerson in the film.
Monsters at Work Season 2 Plotline
Season one finishes with Tylor having achieved his goal of becoming a Jokester, and the season as a whole has been established as a hero. Tylor and the MIFT staff get together to create a special canister that will hold sufficient laugh energy to power the company as it makes the transition from scare power to laugh power. Without them, the business might not have survived. The season finale effectively ushered in a new era for the franchise and its numerous characters.
As a result, Season 2 is likely to focus on Mike, Sulley, and Tylor as they adjust to the company’s new post-transition operations. Season two’s narrative details are being kept under wraps for the time being, but considering the season one cliffhanger, viewers may be confident that the show’s creators will spin at least a few thrilling stories. In the end, Boo was welcomed back into the fold, and Tylor was given a new assistant. This would be a reasonable direction for season two to go in, as viewers are interested in seeing how Tylor copes with the difficulties he faces in his new role as Jokester.
Fans are still anticipating Boo’s reappearance and the team’s first encounter with the character. Unfortunately, this may never come to fruition. Fans’ expectations were revived when Sulley uncovers a door to Boo at the end of Season 1 despite earlier assertions that Boo would not appear in the show.
