Happy! Season 3 Renewal Status

It’s official now that there won’t be a third season of Happy! Syfy has confirmed that the show will no longer be on. Since June 2019, there has always been a rumor that season 3 will not be coming out on time. After the news was made public, no one was surprised. Records show that a lot of people watched season 2 of Happy! The show didn’t get much attention. The show’s average rating stayed at 0.09, and about 280,000 people watched it. The number of views wasn’t too bad, but the rating was different from season 1. This is not what anyone making a streaming show wants to happen. There could be another reason why the show was canceled.

Happy! Season 3 Plot

In season 3, the story would be about Nick Sax living his life with Happy, getting drunk, and being away from society. Happy, the flying unicorn, is a made-up friend, and he or she will stay the same. They’d be coming down on a holiday. In this show, there is no follow-up to the Christmas story. The second claim can’t be found anywhere. It’s all tied together with a picture of Easter. In a recent interview, the show’s Executive Producer, Patrick Macmanus, said that every season should end on a holiday, but that each holiday should take place in a different place. Nick tries out a new way of life, learns new things, and tries new things in season 2.

Happy! Season 2 Review

Amanda gives many Lemure eggs to the Wishes, but she realizes quickly that she made a mistake. She uses an oxygen cylinder to burn the eggs and set fire to the Wishes, while Orcus uses his powers to force the hospital staff and other patients to take the shots Nick and Merry fire. Happy finds out that he has powers like Orcus’s and has the crowd make out instead, so Amanda can see him for a second. Orcus sends his prisoners to take over the channel so that Sonny’s show can air while Nick and Amanda follow Smoothie.

Merry finds out that Assunta killed herself in prison after Orcus visited her, but she is taken to a pawn shop and forced to join the Blue Feather cult, whose mystic members try to keep ancient gods away. Smoothie has Amanda give Nick a dose of a drug that makes him sleepy while Orcus brings Hailey her food and the gun she will use to kill Sonny. Antonia Rey, who played Assunta on the show, gets a shout-out at the end of the episode.

Happy! Season 3 Release Date

The release date of season 3 depends on when another OTT service picks up the show, and they have to say when that will be. It looks like it will take a long time, and we have a lot of hopes for the date it will come out. Even between the first and second seasons, there was a 14-year gap, so people thought it might take a while for the third season to come out. Because of this, the likely release date is late in 2022 or early in 2023. I hope that season 3 will be good.
