She is so ashamed of her past that she has retreated into her career as a historian. Diana is an expert in alchemy, so she goes to Oxford to peruse Elias Ashmole’s manuscript collection.
There, Diana orders Ashmole 782 and immediately detects something is off with it. She’s shocked when she opens it. After learning that Ashmole 782 had been missing for quite some time, Diana understood that every living thing craved it. She finds herself besieged and under assault, and her only opportunity to save herself is to discover the truth about 782. Vampire, researcher, and medical doctor Matthew Clairmont is a fictional character. He starts to trust Diana and ends up becoming one of her closest friends. Despite her initial misgivings, she eventually decides to place her faith in him. Together, they set out toward the realm of All Souls.

A Discovery of Witches Season 4 Release Date
The third season was always intended to be the last one. The All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness has been brilliantly adapted to the screen in this series. Since each season adapts one of Harkness’ books, we knew there wouldn’t be a fourth. When we learned that there would only be three seasons of this show, what little optimism we had vanished.
There is positive news, though, in spite of this setback. The end of Harkness’s All Souls world is yet in the future. One additional installment in this series, titled Time’s Convert, has already been published by her. Time’s Covert by Deborah Harkness has been met with a great deal of praise, therefore there is a good chance that it will be adapted for the big screen. Perhaps a spinoff is in the works and will arrive shortly. A formal statement is expected to be made shortly.
