But if you want the most recent information on every subject, you’ll need to read the entire article.
Love In Contract Season 2 Renewal Status
Love In Contract has not been renewed for a second season by tvN as of this writing. Given the show’s declining ratings over the past few weeks, it will be intriguing to watch if a second season gets ordered.
The show started off with a 3.9% share nationally, but the ratings have been steadily declining over the weeks, with a few of the later episodes only bringing in a 2.6-2.7% share. We think Love In Contract will not be renewed as most Korean dramas only air for one season and the ratings aren’t exactly setting the K-drama schedule on fire.
Love In Contract Season 2 Release Date
The show has not been picked up for a second season, as previously mentioned. Therefore, season two of Love in Contract has not yet been scheduled for airing. If we had to make an educated guess as to when the show would premiere, we’d say 2023.

Love In Contract Season 1 Review
Although Love in Contract isn’t a terrible program, it also doesn’t provide much in the way of fresh ideas or compelling drama. This show uses every cliche and trope from the K-drama genre, making the whole thing feel tired and overdone. While the premise itself may seem elementary, we know from experience that even a minor modification to the formula can yield excellent results. One such example is the extremely formulaic True Beauty.
Unfortunately, Love in Contract’s few memorable scenes are overshadowed by the show’s overall lack of complexity. The first few episodes are excellent, and the acting and humor are both above average. While the relationship and chemistry between the protagonists are engaging, Gwang-Nam’s subplot revolving around his sexuality is a fascinating viewpoint that isn’t given nearly enough screen time.
Anyone familiar with Korean dramas would likely guess the series’ twist well before the middle. Love in Contract is not a memorable show, and its predictable and flimsy plot makes for a boring and quickly forgotten viewing experience.
