Queen Sugar is about three Louisiana siblings who have to deal with the effects of their father’s death and decide what will happen to his 800-acre sugarcane farm. Queen Sugar Review and Recap

I had to record a few episodes of this show to figure out what was going on, but I didn’t want to watch it because it was billed as a short show. I’m glad I decided to. The show is great and makes sense. I can’t wait for the next showing because I’m always on the edge of my seat and looking forward to the next one. As with the endings of all good series, this one will be very sad for me.

I’m glad OWN exists and that Oprah lets African-American shows air on her network. I’m sure that other networks won’t even look at it twice. The plot is very interesting and keeps you guessing. I love what each actor brings to the show, how smart the writer is, and how well the actors do their jobs.

Other viewers who say it’s bad and just another black show are confused. They have the right to their own opinions, of course, but I really think people should check it out for themselves before reading bad reviews and deciding to watch it. Again, thank you, OWN, for your excellent and thought-provoking shows.

Where can I watch Queen Sugar?

The first episode of the show aired on an American basic cable channel that Warner Bros. Discovery and Harpo Studios own together with the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). The channel began on January 1, 2011. It took the place of Discovery Health. On this platform, you can watch all of the previous seasons of the show. Since the creators haven’t renewed the show for an 8th season, you won’t be able to watch it anywhere. If the people who make the show change their minds and decide to make a new season, it might be available where the old seasons were.

Is Queen Sugar worth watching?

Everyone who has seen the show has loved it so much that they can’t stop talking about it. If you like drama, you must watch this show. The people who make the show have worked hard to make it clear in the show itself. The storylines and plots, as well as the visuals, have all been good, which is why you should watch the Queen Sugar seasons.
