The Oath Season 3: Release Date, Cast, And Everything We Know Far

Sony Crackle is home to the American online series ‘The Oath,’ a criminal drama. The program, developed by a veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, is centered on an underground organization of corrupt law enforcement officers that is very difficult to penetrate. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Anne Clements, Joe Halpin, Todd Hoffman, and Dennis Kim serve as executive producers.

New to television audiences as of March 8, 2018, ‘The Oath’ Season 1 has a total of 10 episodes. Sony Crackle renewed the program for a second season on April 24, 2018, a little over a month later. The second season’s launch was on February 21, 2019, and it again consists of eight episodes. The question now on the minds of ‘The Oath’ viewers is whether or not the program will be back for a second season of high drama.

The Oath Plot: What is it about?

What if people sworn to serve and protect us abuse their position of trust and become corrupt tyrants? At its core, ‘The Oath’ explores this subject by following the lives of a few of these ex-cops-turned-criminals as they navigate their new lives while remaining true to their oaths of allegiance to one other and protecting each other through thick and thin.

The program, which takes place in a made-up American city, follows a group of police officers who are members of a secret organization known variously as the Berserkers, Ravens, Vipers, etc. It is shown how difficult it is to become a member of these shadowy, crooked, and secret clubs. However, those policemen who make the cut are forever tied to their gangs and are obligated to risk everything for each other, even behind bars. It’s worth noting that the program’s creator, John Halpin, got the concept from his time spent as an undercover detective, so you may be wondering whether secret organizations like the ones shown on the show truly exist.

The story follows Steven and Cole, two brothers at the head of a criminal organization called the Ravens, who say they are driven to crime by the need to support their sick mother and their father in prison. It’s not until the FBI begins investigating the Ravens and attempts to use their pressure on the gang to try to get all the other gangs into jail that things start to become interesting, despite the somewhat stiff and sort of overdone premise. But in ‘The Oath,’ nobody’s good, and not even the FBI agent in command of the investigation can resist getting his hands dirty. Drama, corruption, and plenty of action ensue.

The Oath Season 3: What Will Happen Next?

Last season focused on police corruption and the larger issue of institutional and societal corruption. The terrible truth that has been shielded from the eyes of the general public has also been exposed. However, the villainous gang known as “The Raven” demonstrated that they relied heavily on their loved ones. But in the end, they made another mistake when they struck a deal with the season’s devil, the Colombian Cartel.

The Oath Season 3 Release Date: When will it premiere?

The show’s popularity is hard to assess since Sony Crackle does not provide audience numbers. The chief digital officer of Sony Pictures Television Networks, Eric Berger, claimed excellent viewership when the network confirmed a second season, adding, “Our audience has truly responded to this authentic, raw, and compelling series.” We owe a great debt of gratitude to Joe, 50 Cent, and the rest of our incredible cast and crew for helping us bring this epic tale to life. We’re excited to go further with you.

Sony has not shared any information on the future of ‘The Oath’ since the debut of Season 2 on February 21, 2019. Season 3 of The Oath might premiere in 2023, according to our best estimates.
