The new version of Parallels Desktop can now virtualize Windows 10 ARM natively on Mac M1s

Parallels, famous for its virtualization tools for macOS, just announced the release of Parallels Desktop 16.5, a long-awaited version because finally has full native support for Macs with Apple’s new M1 chips.

This version allows run Windows 10 ARM preview on virtual machines within macOS at native speeds on newer Macs, in addition to also offering support for ARM-based Linux distros.

The folks at Paralles say that compared to the 2019 Intel-based Macbook Pro (i9, 32GB RAM, Radeon Pro Vega 20 graphics), the performance of running a Windows 10 virtual machine is up to 30% better.
