Hae Soo, a noble Hae Clan native of the Goryeo dynasty, was a distant relative of Lady Hae Myung-hee. Lady Myung-hee took her in as her own after her mother passed away. Time passes, and eventually, Myung-hee is ill. They move to Songak, where Soo will be her companion and caretaker.
Everything is going as planned until Soo trips and strikes her head in Songak’s massive washing area, where she appears to die for a moment before Go Ha-jin, a 25-year-old woman from the present who drowns during a solar eclipse in her time and steals her body. Her cousin and the maid both observe the shift in her demeanor. People around her, however, believe that the blow to her head and subsequent near-death experience completely altered her personality.
Her cousin has tied the knot to one of King Taejo’s sons, and she quickly became friends with numerous of the princes because of her easygoing and friendly nature.
