Lupin was directed by Louis Leterrier, Marcela Said, Ludovic Bernard, and Hugo Gelin. It is based on the fictional character Arsène Lupin, who was made up by Maurice Leblanc in the early 1990s. Lupin is a master thief and master of disguises. Lupin was made by George Kay and Francois Uzan. It is about a professional thief named Assane Diop, whose boss, Hubert Pellegrini, put his father in jail for stealing an expensive diamond necklace.
He couldn’t get out of a mess he didn’t make, so he hung himself in prison, leaving Assane without a parent. As time goes on, Assane reads more about Leblanc’s Arsène Lupin and learns how to be a master thief. But that’s not the end of his journey. He wants to get back at the Pellegrins because they killed his father.
Lupin Season 3
Lupin’s first season started on Netflix on January 8, 2021. Most of the main scenes were filmed in Paris, such as at La Naumachie Pond in Parc Monceau and the Musée Nissim de Camondo on Rue de Monceau. A few months later, on June 11, the second season began. Netflix says that 70 million people watched the French show in just the first month after it came out. This makes it one of the most non-English shows on the streaming giant. Season 2 was watched by 54 million people, making it one of the most popular shows of the second quarter.
Lupin Season 3 Cast
What would Lupin be without Omar Sy? Since he said on Twitter that the show would be back, we know for sure that he will play the same part.
Omar has a lot going on, but he will soon be the lead in another Netflix show called Yasuke, which is a live version of the Japanese Samurai show. We would expect that his schedule would be pretty full since he is working on Shadow Force and will be in Jurassic World Dominion in 2022, but we would still anticipate him to be in Lupin season 3. Also, his dog co-star, J’accuse, will be there with him when it comes to casting.

Lupin season 3 Plot
In the finale of Seasons 1 and 2, Lupin finally found out the truth about Hubert Pelligrini’s wrongdoings and got him and the corrupt police commissioner Gabriel Dumont arrested. He did this to clear the name of his late father. Since this has been Lupin’s main storyline until now, it opens up the opportunity for other stories to take the lead. With so many ideas to draw from in the Arsène Lupin books, there are still a lot of exciting things to do.
In an interview with EW, Omar Sy said that Lupin’s revenge against this gentleman thief might not be over yet. “He’s done most of the work, but it’s not all done yet. When episode 10 ended, we still didn’t have all the answers.” Even though Assane was calm when he gave Pelligrini to the police after years of trying to get his revenge, it looks like his calmer side will come back in season 3. So, Assane doesn’t use violence; he does what he does, but not violently. One of Lupin’s rules is that he never uses violence and has never killed anyone.
How Did Season 2 Of Lupin Conclude?
Assane Diop decided to make a daring escape down the Seine River after bidding farewell to his son Raoul and his ex-girlfriend Claire. This was the end of Lupin Part Two. Before he started his journey to freedom, Assane Diop told his family that he would “always be watching” them from afar.
Part Three of Lupin is still being made, so people won’t forget about Assane Diop any time soon. For now, though, it’s not clear what will happen next. We hope that Hubert Pellegrini will be arrested and put in jail for a long time because of it.
Lupin Season 3 Release Date
At the time this was written, Netflix had not announced an official date for Season 3 of Lupin. But that’s no reason to be sad because the official streamer has affirmed that Lupin will have a brand-new season in 2023. Fans of the show thought that the new season would come out in the first half of 2023, when it first came out in 2021.

The first and second seasons of Lupin are both on Netflix. There will also be the Lupin III season on Netflix. But Netflix hasn’t said when the exact date will be. We’ll change the most recent release date as soon as we hear about any changes.
Lupin Season 3 Trailer
Netflix released the official teaser for Lupin Part 3 on September 24, 2022, during its official Tudum event. In the teaser, Assane talks about how he got revenge for his father and how he had to come out of the shadows. But then, he says, it will be time to return into the dark and vanish. But will he be capable of disappearing when his face is on every wall in town and everybody is searching for him?
