‘Heavenly Delusion,’ also known as ‘Tengoku Daimakyou, is a mystery science fiction anime based on a Japanese manga series by author and illustrator Masakazu Ishiguro. Young adults Maru and Kiruko (played by the show’s protagonists) travel the world in search of a location called Heaven. Fifteen years ago, a catastrophe struck that nearly wiped out humankind. The remaining people are attempting to get together, but they are in danger from flesh-eating creatures. Meanwhile, at an unknown location, children are being raised in a facility that is completely sealed off from the outside world. However, it quickly becomes clear that nothing in their world is as flawless as it seems.
The science fiction series is enjoyable to watch because it tells a captivating story that makes viewers question their own assumptions about the world. Anime’s meteoric rise to fame is therefore not surprising. Since the season 1 finale left many questions unanswered, it’s only natural for viewers to ask when the show they love will return with new episodes. If you’re wondering the same thing, worry not; we’ve got you covered.
Heavenly Delusion Season 2 Renewal Status
The first season of Heavenly Delusion, along with the rest of the Spring 2023 anime schedule, has concluded, and now there is serious doubt as to whether or not the show will return for a second season. The first season of the anime based on Masakazu Ishiguro’s Heavenly Delusion manga premiered alongside the new crop of shows for the Spring 2023 anime schedule, and it stood out from the crowd thanks to the slate of major mysteries it offered over the course of the anime’s 13-episode first season run.
The 13-episode run of the anime Heavenly Delusion concluded this spring, but no word had been given on whether or not the show would be renewed for a second season.
Heavenly Delusion Season 2 Release Date
Without a doubt, this is the most common inquiry. Fans of this wacky anime couldn’t wait for Episode 10 to air so they can find out what happens in Season 2. The upcoming episode has everyone’s attention. Where do Tokio and Maru go from here? Our most recent findings indicate that Season 2 of “Heavenly Delusion” has not yet been ordered. All four of Tokyo’s major networks (MX, HTB, RKB, and BS11) are currently airing the show’s first season. As of this writing, only ten episodes from the first season are available online.
We can only hope that additional episodes will be added in the following weeks. When it comes to Season 2 of the anime, Heavenly Delusion, there has been no official word as of yet. There remains enough material for a second season of Heavenly Delusion, so we expect it to return. If the series follows its typical pattern, “Heavenly Delusion” could receive a renewal before the end of the year. We anticipate that the second season of Heavenly Delusion will premiere before the end of summer 2024.
