Gravity Falls has been famous since it started in 2012, and season 2 came out in 2015. This show made a lot of progress, and people loved it. There are many years between each season, but the viewers’ hearts don’t get weak. The talk is about when Season 3 of Gravity Falls will come out.

Alex Hirsch came up with the idea for Gravity Falls. He wanted to make a cartoon that was a mix of Twin Peaks and The Simpsons. Gravity Falls is about twins Mabel and Dipper Pines, who are 12 years old and are sent to the town of the same name in Oregon to spend the summer with their strange great-uncle. As soon as they get there, the twins are pulled into a summertime adventure that has to do with the town’s paranormal secrets.
The animation, voice acting (including Jason Ritter and Kristen Schaal as Dipper and Mabel, respectively), and writing of Gravity Falls have all won awards. The production of the show was known to be a bit stop-and-go, with episodes being shown as they were completed instead of all at once.

Gravity Falls Season 3 Story
People like animation, voice acting, and writing in Gravity Falls. The plot of this show is very interesting, funny, and mysterious all at the same time. The trip during summer break is where the story starts. Dipper and Mabel Pine were staying with their uncle Grunkle Stan. Grunkle lived in Gravity Falls. Gravity Falls is a town full of mysteries and exciting things to do.
Soon, they find a lot of hidden things and tell everyone about the town’s secrets. The Pine twins spend all of their time off exploring and having exciting adventures. Suddenly, Dipper found a diary in the jungle. That diary helped him solve many mysteries and find many more. Slowly but surely, they were joined by other characters from the show. So, none of the rumors about Gravity Falls season 3 are true. Even though it has been canceled, people can still watch season 2 and enjoy the kids’ mysterious and exciting journey.
What happened at the end of the Show?
Gravity Falls Season 2’s second-to-last episode was called “Wierdmageddon.” In it, Stan’s brother Ford found out that Bill Cipher wanted to take over the town. So, the Mystery Shack gang, which was made up of Stan, the kids, different people who lived there, and strange creatures, got together to fight Bill. They were able to take control of the town back from Bill, but in the final showdown, the Pines family died and a big sacrifice was made.
What Is The Production Status Of Gravity Falls Season 3?
Alex Hirsh made it clear that season 2 would be the last in the series, so production of the show ended for good in 2016. This means that no work is being done on season 3.
Still, the show’s creator did say there were going to be shorts and small specials, so these small parts keep getting made from time to time. Alex also published a Gravity Falls graphic novel in 2018 to continue the story.
Gravity Falls Season 3 Is Still Possible
Even though a full third season of Gravity Falls is probably not going to happen, Alex Hirsch hasn’t ruled out coming back to the show. He wanted to end the show on a high note, but he also said that he loved the characters so much that he could see himself coming back to make one-off special or more episodes. But nothing is planned at the moment.

A score of 8.9 out of 10 on IMDb is good, and a score of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes means that most people liked the show. So, this show is for sure on my list. These days, there aren’t many great and sensible cartoons for kids. That’s why people have been turning to anime, where at least you get a real story, but because of the necessity of such good and sensible cartoons.
