Claws Season 5: Is It Renewed Or Canceled?

Claws is an American comedy-drama TV show that first premiered on Turner Network Television (TNT) on June 11, 2017. It was made by Eliot Laurence. People also can watch it on Amazon Prime Video, which is an over-the-top (OTT) service. Most of the show’s episodes are shot in New Orleans. The series takes place in Palmetto, Florida. IMDb users gave it an average score of 7.4/10, and 88% of Google users liked the show. When it was first made, Claws was a one-camera comedy show for HBO. There are also some elements of dark comedy and crime drama in the show.

Each of this show’s four seasons has 10 half-hour episodes. On December 13, 2016, filming for the first season began. As soon as the first season ended, the show was picked up for a second season, which came out on June 10, 2018. Season 3 of Claws came out on June 9, 2019, which was a year after the second season. It was picked up for a season 4 right away. But because of the pandemic, the company that made it had to stop making it. When filming started back up in 2020, the show didn’t come out until December 19, 2021.

Claws Season 5 Renewal Status

Guys, there won’t be a fifth season of Claws. Even before Season 4 started, the show’s creators said that the fourth season would be the last. The season is written to end the story with a big sign that says “THE END.” Fans wanted more Claws, but I guess we’ll have to watch it again after this season.

The justification given for the decision was that the show was losing viewers and there was a global pandemic going on at the same time. Seasons 1 and 2 did very well in the ratings, but the show didn’t do as well in the following seasons. The producers have all agreed on it. They should have thought things through very well, so let’s just accept that Claws won’t need a fifth season.

Claws Season Recap

The story of Claws is about the five hardworking and different manicurists who run the Nail Artisans salon. Desna owns the salon in Manatee County, Florida, which is in the state of Florida. Jennifer, Ann, Virginia, and Polly are also on staff at the salon. Jennifer is her best friend. Ann keeps the salon safe, and Polly, who used to be in jail, soon gets tired of her job.

Desna takes good care of her mentally ill brother Dean as well as runs the salon. Jennifer, on the other hand, has two kids from a previous relationship. When the five of them have trouble making ends meet, they join a group of criminals. Soon, they will start washing money for a pain clinic in the area. When Uncle Daddy, the cruel head of the Husser crime family, keeps some of Desna’s money from her, she blames it on Roller, her shady redneck boyfriend. Uncle Daddy also took him in as his own son.

When Bryce, Jennifer’s ex-husband and an ambulance driver, comes back into the picture, things are just as sketchy as they were before. Desna manages to find out that Roller has been deceiving her with Virginia and tries to kill him. Later in the show, it becomes clear why Desna is working so hard to achieve greater success for herself and her brother. Other characters’ secrets are also revealed one by one, along with Desna’s.

The last episode of Season 4 of Claws has already aired. The network has made clear what it wants to do with the show, so the fifth episode probably won’t happen.
