Capital One is one of the leading financial services in the US and Canada. Company is revealed that about 106 Million individual’s personal details account is affected due to data breaching.
Just in Monday, Paige Thompson is caught by the cyber security force, and he is the man who attempted the Capital One Hack. Bank says that this attack is performed by Software Engineer Paige, Who is trying to access the systems of the Bank.
In Capital One Hack, 100 Millons USA People are affected, and 6 Million Canadian people are affected. That 140,000 Social Security Number, 80000 Bank account, 1 Million Canadian Social Insurance are Compromised in the Capital One Hack.
In Data Breaching, Company Said that Hacker gets the customer data such as Names, Addresses, and Phone Numbers. These data are caught from the people who want to purchase the products, or they used while applying for products. Further, they have included that hacker was not able to access the credit card account number.
When Company has published the report of the hack, Officials had said that “Hacker is trying to access and exploit configuration of the company infrastructure. On 19 July Company had identified that hack is performed on the server.
How Capital One Handle this Hack Chaos?
They are continuing the investigation process because customer data may be used to perform any fraud using their name, their credit card, whatever they got in data. Till Monday Investigation is on the way, Until they caught the hacker.
Capital one provided free credits access to their customer. When hacker attacked, and data is stolen from the Company, right away company have started to notify the customer for identity protection and free credit.

Seatle Court has sent a summons to Thompson, and the US Federal Government has entered the charge sheet in case of computer fraud and stole customer data. Thompson has to pay $250,000 and sentenced to five years of prison.
