French comedy series ‘Call My Agent!’ (originally named ‘Dix pour cent) depicts the lives and careers of a group of movie celebrity agents. Andréa, Mathias, Gabriel, and Arlette are all employees at the ASK or the Samuel Kerr Agency. After the untimely passing of the agency’s founder, it is up to these men to face challenges head-on and keep the business running.
The program, developed by Fanny Herrero and Dominique Besnehard, debuted on France 2 on October 14, 2015. Due to the show’s popularity in France, Netflix decided to distribute it to other countries on December 20, 2016 (with the exception of Spain and Portugal). The program was a surprise success with viewers all around the world, and it quickly built up a dedicated following. Find out the answer to your question of whether or not Season 5 will be produced.
Call My Agent Season 5 Renewal
Having completed the tale, the creators of the French comedy-drama planned to stop the show after its fourth season. However, it appears that the massive success of the Netflix run has inspired a U-turn, as Thomas Anargyros, president of the production company behind Call My Agent, confirmed earlier this month that the show would be returning for a fifth season and a film.
What is the storyline of Call My Agent?
The French television program Call My Agent has found popularity throughout the world because of its suspense, comedy, and emotional depth. Along with the four major promoters of the Parisian business community, ASK takes us into the seedy underbelly of the entertainment industry. These four marketers do as required, without question, but they don’t give a hoot about their personal information or privacy. The program routinely addresses major themes, like sexual assault and the disparity in pay between the sexes.
Despite the industry’s shiny veneer, social and economic problems persist. Agents must meet the demands of their celebrity clients’ temper tantrums. In addition, the gatherings’ wonderful personalities have been proved to be interesting and funny. Both the commonality of the group and the marketing mindset are on full display in the presentations. The program has a genuine tone thanks to producers Dominique Besnehard and Fanny Herrero, and it’s clear that it’s based on true events.

Call My Agent Season 5 Expected Plot
There are not many known specifics regarding the forthcoming fifth season of Call My Agent at this time. However, news has come in that in addition to a fifth season, Call My Agent will also be getting a movie. Moreover, Call My Agent’s producers have given away some plot points for the film adaptation.
The forthcoming film will pick up the plot after the conclusion of Season 4. The story will most likely revolve around Andrea Martel. The director, Dominique Besnehard, has spoken publicly about his ambition to film in New York. He said, “Right now, we’re going to make a [feature] that we’re beginning to script and which, I believe will take place in New York. Simply said, all the genuine American actors really want to be there.
Andrea, who was considering a move to New York for improved job prospects, will be featured. She’d want to bring Camille along as her personal assistant. The film’s portrayal of the characters is yet to be seen. The new agency that Camille has founded is expected to be the focus of both the next film and Season 5 of Call My Agent.
Call My Agent Season 5 Release Date
The creators of Call My Agent! had planned for the fourth season to be the last, but in April they announced a feature-length episode and a fifth season. As the program’s executive producer Harold Valentin told Variety, “This show is about a family—not a biological one, but one that formed in a professional environment and got stronger together through ups and downs, so, of course, we want to reunite this family.”
Filming for the movie and the fifth season is scheduled to begin in early 2022, however, this is subject to change based on the schedules of the actors and crew.
Assaad Bouab, who portrays Hicham, has shot parts in The Pursuit of Love and Peaky Blinders and will appear in the forthcoming Shonda Rhimes series Inventing Anna, while Camille Cottin, who plays Andrea, has been busy shooting Stillwater and House of Gucci since filming Call My Agent! season four is wrapped. A fifth season of Call My Agent is anticipated for 2023, provided that the cast is ready to begin filming at the beginning of the year.
