‘Buddy Daddies’ is an action comedy series produced by Aniplex and Nitroplus about two professional assassins, Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa, who share an apartment. The two hitmen assume they’re only doing their job when they’re hired to eliminate a deadly mafia boss. Miri, a young, naive girl yearning for her father, interrupts the assassination expedition and nearly foils their plans. After killing their target, the assassins are forced to take her home because she believes she is Kazuki’s daughter. They just killed Miri’s biological father, but they have no idea who he is.
When Miri learns the devastating reality and continues to call the assassin team “papa,” Rei and Kazuki choose to give her a normal upbringing despite the risks their occupation poses to them. Fans all across the world have been moved and entertained by the emotional, adventurous, action-packed, and hilarious tale of the couple. After seeing the first season come to an end, these viewers are eager to know when they can see their favorite characters again. If you’re wondering the same thing, worry not; we’ve got you covered.
Buddy Daddies Season 2 Release Date
Unfortunately, there isn’t enough content for a third season of Buddy Daddies, therefore there’s only a 50/50 chance of a fourth installment. If we consider it’s following and quality, we find that it is above average, thus the only factor left is how long it will last.
There is little hope of a sequel being released this year or next year, but we will know for sure by the fall of 2023 if the series decides to create a sequel. Even if the story was neatly wound up, we know that Rei and Kazuki Papa would be missed. Oh yes! Also, Miri!
Studio announcements on Season 2 of Buddy Daddies have thus far been silent from Aniplex, Nitroplus, and PA Works. It had a satisfying conclusion, with Kazuki and Rei establishing a restaurant so that they can continue living with Miri as a true family. They are running away from their painful histories and nasty jobs. Miri has turned fourteen, and towards the end of the story, everyone has found happiness in their own ways.
