Living with his mother Yukie, 22-year-old Ryōta Sakamoto is a young guy who is now jobless. When it comes to the battle video game Btooom, he is among the best in the world! the third One day, he finds himself on what seems like a tropical island, but he can’t put his finger on how or why he ended up there.
As Ryōta roams, he spots an individual and urgently summons them for assistance. An unknown assailant then threw a bomb in his direction. It doesn’t take long for Ryōta to figure out that he is in imminent danger and that he is essentially stuck in a live-action version of his beloved game. Himiko, another player in Btooom! and Ryōta’s in-game spouse, is someone Ryōta meets in the game.
