Why Is Diet Rite So Hard To Find?
There’s no one answer to this question, as it could be for various reasons. Perhaps the company is focusing on other products and has deemphasized Diet Rite favor of those items.
Maybe the soda isn’t selling as well as it used to, and the company is pulling back its distribution to allocate resources elsewhere. It’s also possible that there aren’t enough Diet Rite fans out there to make it worth the company’s while to continue stocking it on shelves.
Whatever the reason may be, the fact remains that finding Diet Rite can be a challenge. If you’re determined to track down a can or two, your best bet is to check smaller convenience stores or independent grocers rather than major chains. You may also want to check online retailers, as they sometimes carry discontinued items.
So if you’re a Diet Rite fan, it’s worth taking the time to track down a few cans of your favorite soda. And if you’ve never tried it before, now might be the perfect time to give it a try!
Why is caffeine-free diet coke so hard to find:
I have been drinking diet coke for over 25 years. It has become harder to find in bottles or cans with caffeine. My local grocery stores are carrying the caffeine-free but are running out of stock all the time.
They are also trying to charge me more for it, saying supply & demand rules apply. If you look at the nutrition facts label on caffeinated diet coke, you will see 10mg of sodium and 38 mg of potassium per serving. The caffeine-free lists 0 sodium and 20mg of potassium per serving. Since there is 38mg less potassium in caffeine-free diet coke, how does it work?
Caffeine-free diet coke Walmart:
diet coke is available in most stores that sell coke. You can get it at Walmart, but it sells out quickly because people buy up all they can get.
I have been drinking diet coke since 1985, and this year (2012) is the first year I have seen a problem finding the caffeine-free version. I’ve talked to several people who drink diet coke regularly, and they are having the same trouble finding it in their area.
This doesn’t seem right when there should be plenty of supply if production hasn’t stopped entirely for some reason.
