XO, Kitty Season 2 Plotline
Netflix has renewed XO, Kitty for a second season, but there is no formal storyline outline available just yet because the creators haven’t decided where to take the show. The season one finale’s cliffhanger established a few plot points for the upcoming second season of XO, Kitty. After Kitty’s mother, Eve, confessed her first love, Simon, in a long-lost letter, the first season concluded with Kitty reading the letter on a plane. Kitty was taken aback when she discovered Min Ho sitting next to her on the plane and heard him express his romantic affection for her.
Season 2 of Kitty could focus on Kitty’s search for Simon to learn more about her mother’s past in light of the events of the season 1 finale. An already tense relationship between Kitty and Dae is likely to become much more fraught when one of Dae’s closest friends falls in love with Kitty. The love triangle between Kitty, Yuri, and Juliana will undoubtedly continue to heat up in Season 2 of XO, Kitty. There is undoubtedly much more to this story to tell.
XO, Kitty Season 2 Trailer
Wishing that getting a trailer was as quick and easy as Kitty getting into KISS. Sadly, that’s not the case. Not even a teaser for Season 2 may be expected any time soon.
Where can I watch XO, Kitty?
The first season of XO, Kitty will debut there exclusively on Netflix. Season one is also available for viewing in its entirety on Netflix.
XO, Kitty Season 1 Review
The romantic subplots in K-dramas and American dramas are very different. One is a slow-burn romance that also features melodrama, suspense, and other genres, while the other is more action-packed and serious.
The main character, Kitty, goes on a roller coaster of emotions throughout the episode, but one constant is the serendipity with which her life’s circumstances resolve themselves. Kitty, at the age of 17, travels to South Korea for the first time on her own in the pilot episode. She rams into the car of Yuri, a fellow K.I.S.S. student and the client of Dae’s (her boyfriend’s) father, who is a chauffeur.
Kitty’s sexual awakening is one of the series’ most memorable plot points. Kitty is given space in the narrative to explore her sexuality in South Korea, a country that is still not fully accepting of the existence of the LGBTQIA+ population. The show presents two contrasting viewpoints by demonstrating how Yuri’s mother, Jina, was initially so opposed to Yuri’s sexuality and how Kitty’s father, who is the polar opposite, is so accepting of his daughter’s sexuality that they have no trouble communicating.
The teen series XO, Kitty is fantastic and worth watching at least once. It will be exciting to see the show’s creators take this one when it returns for a new season, maybe sometime next year.
