Wisting Season 3 Trailer

Wisting Season 3 Plot

On a farm close to Larvik, Norway, a man’s body was found beneath the Christmas tree, completely covered in snow.

The investigation into this murder is being directed by William Wisting, and the fingerprint evidence point to Robert Godwin, an American serial killer who was wanted for more than 20 years and is still at large.

It was assumed that he had escaped to Larvik and maintained a low profile while posing as someone who lived there to remain undetected.

Therefore, the FBI sent Special Agents John Bantham and Maggie Gryphon to support the Norwegian inquiry.

But in order for the murderer to be able to escape once again, they must keep their names and whereabouts as a secret as they can.

about the other side, Line, Westing’s daughter, is a reporter and reports about their neighbor’s death.

Her situation is unintentionally connected to the murder inquiry, making her a key suspect in the case as well. Bantham’s cover is blown by Line’s relationship with him, revealing his identity.

The number of murders increases exponentially as a result of the authorities learning the killer’s main disposal location. When Wisting and Gryphon manage to corner the murderer, the search extends into Sweden across the border.

Wisting then makes an appearance on national television to do his research but is confronted by Vidar Haglund’s attorney, who has maintained his client’s innocence ever since his release from a 17-year prison sentence.

Wisting is suspended whilst the investigation into the case is ongoing because the crucial DNA evidence from the crime site he is assigned to has been tampered with.

Line is enraged by this and makes a promise to clear her father’s reputation while working on a case that is related to everything else.

The audience, who was interested in and fairly engrossed in the police procedural play, responded well to Wisting.

Many readers praised the plotline for mostly adhering to the book’s premise while maintaining the mystery and suspense.

The international audience considered the Norwegian series to be rather refreshing as well as something they wouldn’t recognise the subtitles for.

The series opens with the discovery of a dead corpse beneath a Christmas tree near Larvik, Norway, where the plot is set. The case is assigned to William Wisting, who is tasked with finding the culprit.

He has reportedly been living in Larvik in the guise of a local resident for almost 20 years while evading the authorities.

William receives assistance with the inquiry from FBI Special Agents John Bantham and Maggie Gryphon.
