Inaugurating Demon University… The manga by Osamu Nishi, titled Iruma-kun, was converted into a popular Japanese anime series. Bandai Namco Pictures produced and Makoto Moriwaki directed the anime series; Michiko Yokote oversaw the screenplays; Haruko Iizuka did the character designs; and Kenichi Maejima provided the score.
The story follows Iruma Suzuki, a human boy who is enrolled at Babirus Demon School and must learn to adapt to school life among a diverse group of demons.
The plot begins with Iruma’s enrollment in Babirus Demon School after being sold into servitude by his parents to the demon Sullivan. Despite his initial apprehension, Iruma finds that the school isn’t as horrible as he had imagined and makes fast friends with many of his funny classmates. Together, they engage in a wide variety of dangerous activities, both in and out of class, with predictable results.
