The Nurse Season 2 Plotline

The series primarily focuses on two time periods, 2012 and 2014-2016. Most of the interesting stuff takes place in the second, which introduces us to Pernille Larsen (Fanny Louise Bernth), a new nurse at one of the worst hospitals in all of Denmark. The story’s sense of urgency is amplified by the ER environment. There’s barely room for the patients being wheeled in on both sides. The series symbolizes, in retrospect, both the exhilaration and the horror of saving or losing human lives.
The filmmakers hope that audiences will relate to the struggles of Pernille and Niels as they work as doctors in a tiny town where they receive little to no respect. Theirs is a difficult and underappreciated profession. The few moments that were carefully picked, like Pernille and Niels’s first date on the lake, show a high level of artistic maturity despite the short length of the exposition.
The creators of the show consistently impress with their maturity and sensitivity towards the subject matter. Both Park and Bernth deliver outstanding work. When Hansen is shown to be the mastermind behind the murders, Park takes pleasure in the challenge of portraying him subtly. She plays Hansen’s personality disorder convincingly and with sympathy.
