Fox’s comedic ‘Pivoting,’ created by Liz Astrof, offers a fresh perspective on loss. In the pilot episode, viewers meet Amy, Jodie, and Sarah as they cope with the loss of their friend Coleen. The three buddies all resolve to make the most of their lives after this occurrence. The subsequent adventures in friendship and self-discovery are both humorous and uplifting.
The hilarious timing and engaging plots of “Pivoting” make it a joy to watch. Despite its comedic-dramatic tone, the program has a powerful message: it’s never too late to make a change. Life is simply too short to give up on your dreams or your pursuit of happiness, no matter how old you are. The three women, Amy, Jodie, and Sarah, surely don’t give up easily! Whether you’re wondering whether this single-camera comedy will return for a second season, we’ve got you covered.
Pivoting Season 2 Renewal Status
Fox Network stated on May 13, 2022, that they will be canceling Season 2 of Pivoting. Therefore, there is little chance of the network renewing the series, since numerous programs have been canceled this year across all streaming platforms.
However, despite having a large fan following and a successful run for the network, pivoting has decided not to renew the program for a second season so that the beloved characters may have the proper send-off they deserve.

Pivoting Season 2 Plot
Season 1 of “Pivoting” concludes with Amy, Sarah, and Jodie finally getting together after putting their life-altering goals on wait. Since this is a party in honor of Coleen’s birthday, they figure they should bring the birthday girl, or at least a box containing her ashes. The ladies drink too much and end up losing sight of Coleen in the box, as is their wont.
The three women’s quest to locate their lost friend is a metaphor for their actual circumstances since she has disappeared both physically and metaphorically. The group is in disarray as they scramble to locate Coleen and bring her home. The bizarre circumstances prompt the three to figure out how to get beyond their loss and emerge stronger from the sorrow that has haunted them all season.
The choices made by Amy, Jodie, and Sarah will be revealed in the event of a second season. The following season might be pivotal for Amy and Henry’s marriage, given how their connection has developed as they’ve gotten to know each other and how strongly they feel attracted to one another.
Fans are also interested in seeing more of Sarah’s attempts to do new things while co-parenting with Brian. Jodie’s obsession with Matt has us on the edge of our seats, and we can’t wait to see what happens between them. The success or failure of the three protagonists’ efforts to change their lives will be revealed in the show’s prospective second season.
Pivoting Season 2 Release Date
If you enjoyed seeing the three ladies interact, you’re undoubtedly eagerly awaiting the release of Season 2. It has not been announced if the show will be canceled or renewed, but do you not believe it is too soon to obtain a renewal because the first season is not yet completely out? Starting on January 9, 2022, the first episode of Season 1 will air, and the series finale is scheduled to air on February 10, 2022. Fox has officially said that season two of Pivoting will not be produced. As per the streaming service, the Fox sitcom “Pivoting” was canceled after a single season.
Why did Fox cancel Pivoting Season 2?
According to Deadline, Fox loved Pivoting so much that they renewed it for a second season—but only if it relocated from Los Angeles to Vancouver in an effort to save costs. According to reports, the network tried again to extend the series by seeking a significantly reduced license cost, but the studio wasn’t able to comply.
However, some reports suggest that Fox’s interest in renewing pivoting was more lip service than substance. Although funding from Hulu has helped with the transition, speculation has circulated that the network is already planning for when the arrangement expires next year and its future with Hulu is uncertain.
Where can I watch Pivoting?
Both FuboTV and Hulu Plus now support pivoting. Subscription pricing for the series varies by region and viewing preferences on Google Play, iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, and Vudu, where it may be rented or purchased. The series is also available without charge on the FOX website.
