One writes and draws the popular Japanese comic Mob Psycho 100, an action comedy supernatural series. From April 2012 to December 2017, it was initially published on the Ura Sunday page of Shogakukan’s website. MangaONE, Shogakukan’s mobile app, also featured it. All the chapters were collected by Shogakukan into 16 tankobon books. The story centered on mobster Shigeo Kageyama. Despite his telepathic abilities, he struggles to achieve the fulfillment he craves.
The first episode of Bones’s anime adaptation premiered in July 2016 and ran until September of that year. Season 2 premiered from January to April 2019, and Season 3 will premiere in October 2022. In 2018, a live-action film adaptation premiered, and in the same year, a spin-off manga titled Reigen debuted in the Shogakukan MangaONE app. Crunchyroll licensed the manga for the anime series and Dark Horse Comics published it in English in North America. In October 2018, Adult Swim’s Toonami block aired the English dub, which was created by Bang Zoom! Entertainment. Are you interested in learning more about this popular Japanese manga series? Will there be a fourth season of Mob Psycho 100?
So far, we have no idea! The fate of Mob Psycho 100 is still unknown. However, there are whispers that the show would stop after season 3. There’s a good possibility that this program will finish, and then a few years later, we’ll get a sequel. Fans want to see their show return, but they should not get their expectations up. But that doesn’t mean the franchise is over; as I said previously, there’s a decent chance we’ll get another movie or a sequel down the line.
What is the Storyline of Mob Psycho 100?
After returning after foiling a global conspiracy, Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama must now deal with the more onerous aspects of his normal life, such as filling out the career form at his school, which he finds particularly stressful.
He’ll have to wait until then to stop assisting his mentor, Arataka Reigen, and the office’s newest employee, Katsuya Serizawa, with the paranormal situations their clients bring them. Mob is a responsible guy who wants more control over his life while also becoming more of a contributing member of society. New supernatural and everyday challenges, however, test Mob’s emotional strength and force him to confront the facts around him. Mob needs to get past his emotional breakdowns and reconsider his steadfast naivety before he can continue maturing.

Mob Psycho 100 Season 4 Release Date
Studio Bones is in charge of producing the anime for season 4 of Mob Psycho 100, however, as of this writing, there have been no formal announcements from the show’s creator or any other key individual connected to the studio. Since the third and presumably last season of the anime already covered all there is to cover from the original manga source, it is quite doubtful that we will ever receive a new season of Mob Psycho 100.
What we saw in the Season 3 conclusion of Mob Psycho 100 was actually recounted in the news back in December 2017. The final chapter of the manga didn’t come out until five years after the anime ended. Since then, there has been no new material for the anime to adapt, so season 4 of Mob Psycho 100 is out of the question (unless new material appears in the manga, which is extremely unlikely as the author has kept a lid on the story), or Studio Bones comes up with an anime original story featuring comedic haunting.
Studio Bones, despite its size, may not be able to devote resources to an original story due to the fact that it is working on numerous other projects at the same time. Even if they do decide to create a new original anime project, like Mob Psycho 100 Season 4, we won’t see it until the fall of 2025 at the earliest if we use the release date of the prior season as a guide.
