Long Slow Exhale Season 2 Plot
The Clayton Hall Cougars, led by Head Coach J.C. Abernathy, were able to defend their championship title in the first season of the program. While the two men are getting ready to fight, Shannon accuses Eddie, the assistant coach, of sexual molestation. J.C. has to pick a side as a consequence of the allegation since she is also having a relationship with Eddie. The teachers’ athletic director, Hillman Ford, is a tough competitor.
J.C. has decided against Eddie’s promotion since it may threaten her job security. More and more women are stepping forward to share their experiences of sexual assault, putting pressure on her and the college administration. J.C. begins her own investigation into the situation and Hillman’s troubled past in an effort to clear the air and find a resolution. Meanwhile, the staff players are juggling preparing for forthcoming games and tournaments with their own family issues and personal obstacles. It seems like J.C. and her husband Garrett are the only ones to be held guilty for Hillman’s death, but J.C. may be able to solve the mystery of the sexual accusations before the season finale.
Season two will undoubtedly begin off just where season one left off, showing how J.C. and Garrett cope with the predicament they’ve found themselves in. In addition, further details regarding Hillman’s life, including the part the alternate school instructors played in making his life less than satisfactory, will be made public.

Spectrum Originals and BET debuted the first season of “Long Slow Exhale” on April 4, 2022. On April 25, 2022, the series finale aired, for a total of 12 episodes. What we can reveal regarding the show’s future is as follows. There have been no announcements about a new season from either the producers or the network. If the first season does well enough, there’s a fair possibility it will be renewed for a second.
In light of the above and the success of the first season, it is possible that the producers will immediately greenlight a potential second season by the end of summer 2022. The production timetable and the future availability of the cast members will determine how soon we may expect to see it on our TVs. Assuming everything goes well, season 2 of ‘Long Slow Exhale’ will premiere in the third quarter of 2023.
