Canadian television comedy series Letterkenny was written by Jared Keeso and is directed by Jacob Tierney. The program was first produced as a web series for YouTube before being picked up by Crave for television.
Since its debut on Crave in February 2016, the program has amassed a massive audience. Several accolades have been submitted to and won by the program, including “Best Comedy Series” in 2017. Season 12 of the show will most likely premiere because it has been renewed for a further 12 episodes.
Letterkenny Season 12 Renewal Status
The network has yet to confirm the return of Letterkenny for a twelfth season as of now. The episode “Degens,” directed by Jacob Tierney and written by Jared Keeso and Jacob Tierney, served as the 11th season finale. It’s probable that Season 12 will premiere on Crave on December 25, 2023, following in the footsteps of Seasons 8 through 11’s Christmas Day premieres in Canada. In an Instagram post dated September 8, 2022, Jacob Tierney, who created and directed the show Glen, discussed the upcoming shooting of Season 12.
Letterkenny Storyline
Letterkenny follows a simple farm family in rural Canada. This season’s most fascinating element is the opening line of each episode: “There are 5,000 people in Letterkenny.” They’re facing these problems. Two siblings, Wayne and Katy, own a small farm and are the focus of the story. The town’s residents may be roughly classified as farmers, drug addicts, or indigenous people. The groups are always at odds, and Wayne never stops trying to force his sister to choose between him and the boys she likes.

Letterkenny Season 12: What to Expect?
It’s great that our program has developed at its own speed. According to an interview Tierney gave to Entertainment Weekly earlier this year, she emphasized that the cast never felt like they were under a microscope. “We got our start as a cute little program that didn’t get much notice, and thankfully, we still do. We’re free to pursue our own interests in peace. “I don’t think we feel pressured to do anything other than make a good show,” he said. When there have been so many episodes, it’s easy to start questioning whether or not the cast is phoning it in. Are you serious? However, I believe that if we are able to keep each other artistically interested, we will be able to do the same for our viewers. There have been occasions when we’ve looked at each other and said, “Are we going to do more?” Alright, let’s keep going. The demand seems to be there.
A minimum of six to seven episodes with a typical length of twenty-nine to thirty minutes will be released simultaneously, eliminating the need to tune in every week. However, as of December 28, 2022, neither the episode names nor a summary of the series has been made public by the network. When such times are set to appear on the streaming service, the network will announce it. So, we’d want to ask fans to be calm while these changes are validated by the network and rolled out over the next several months.
Letterkenny Season 12 Release Date
Now that we know the program will continue, we can focus on when the next season will premiere. At this early point, it seems like the second season of Letterkenny on Hulu won’t premiere until the summer or autumn of 2023. Season 12 may take some time to premiere since it is now in the process of recording new episodes for the future season.
