He has no idea how much fun he is making of himself. The facts presented in court and the jury selection were both well-planned. In addition, the result is a maelstrom of frenzied turmoil. The similarities between The Office and Jury Duty are striking, as both were created by the same team. The deadpan humor and poorly crafted speech work wonderfully to heighten the comedic tension. Since Amazon has not yet greenlit a Season 2, details regarding it are few. If this gets renewed, we can look forward to a new season with a brand-new case and lots of new jokes.
