If you already have gray hair, it is too late to stop the process of graying. You can, however, slow down the whitening process by maintaining a healthy lifestyle and eating foods that are rich in tyrosine.
Besides food sources of protein, it has been suggested that taking certain vitamins may help to reduce graying hair. One of these is vitamin B-12, which has been confirmed to slow graying hair in animal studies.
