When he’s outside, the bookworm Izumi dresses in full punk regalia, complete with piercings and tattoos. While this is going on, Kyoko relaxes her style and tends to her younger brother, Souta.
After learning each other’s secrets in a chance encounter outside of school, the two agreed to keep quiet about it amongst their peers throughout the school day. The two begin to feel something for one another as the story progresses. Eventually, they were able, to be honest about how they felt about each other, and their friends were understanding and accepting. They received their diplomas together in the series finale. Kyoko and Izumi’s connection is one that fans can expect to see develop further if the program is picked up for a second season. The materials for the first season have been used up. Therefore, a new story will need to be developed if the anime is to continue.
