Fans of both realistic and fantastical films have existed in the film industry, but they tend to gravitate toward different types of films. There is a distinct subset of Indian moviegoers that prefer to watch Hollywood fantasy films. The content of Hollywood films and television shows is so highly received in India that viewers can’t tear themselves away from the screen and continually press for more installments.
Netflix, the renowned distributor of thrilling, criminal, and fictional episodes, has published one of the thrilling Thai shows. On June 28, Netflix debuted a new series called Delete, which viewers from every corner of the world can now watch.
Delete Season 2 Renewal Status
Delete has not been officially renewed for a second season as of this writing. Considering the show’s subject matter, though, things might shift if it proves successful on Netflix.
Netflix considers a number of factors, such as the show’s initial viewership and its subsequent viewership decline, before deciding whether or not to renew a show. However, as the shocking cancellation of 1899 has shown, the completion rate constitutes a single of the most essential measures. It doesn’t take long for shows like Squid Game, Bridgerton, and Irregulars to be canceled or renewed. Sometimes Netflix will make a decision about a show’s future quickly, while other times it can take months.
The critical and public reception of Delete has been lukewarm thus far. The season finale has us convinced that this show will be given a second season. When we get more information in the days and weeks to come, we will be sure to update this area accordingly.
Delete Season 2 Release Date
The second season could premiere as soon as late 2024. There is currently no word on whether or not Netflix is considering a second season of Delete at this moment. If a second season is indeed greenlit, it may premiere as soon as the end of 2024.
We’ll have to wait and see how popular the new TV program is and if it meets Netflix’s expectations to know for sure. Netflix often waits for a first season’s performance to be evaluated before investing in a second. With the first season of Delete having only recently shown, it may be some time before viewers learn if the show will return for a second season.

Delete Season 2 Plot
While the premiere date and timing of the first season’s eight episodes have not been set in stone, one thing can be said with certainty when discussing the series’ synopsis: it will transport you to a new universe full of secrets and thrills. In the trailer, we witness a couple whose relationship is difficult to repair, but viewers also learn that they have the capacity to erase anyone from existence using a specially created-remote.
The second season’s plot is still a mystery, and the show’s renewal status is still up in the air, but we have high hopes that it will improve upon the first. Let’s just wait for the show’s renewal for a new season and then have a viewing party.
Delete Season 1 Review
Parkpoom Wongpoom produced, directed, and co-wrote the script for the Thai drama series Delete with Tossaphon Riantong and Jirassaya Wongsutin. The cast includes Charlette Wasita Hermenau, Jinjett Wattanasin, Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying, Natara Nopparatayapon, and Sarika Sartsilpsupa. There are eight episodes total, and each one is about 45 minutes long.
The series gets off to a dramatic start, as we witness what’s at risk for our two cheating lovers. In the opening minutes, we see scenes from their personal lives, providing context for the stakes and motivations behind their actions. These events do not excuse these fairly selfish choices, but they put them in perspective. Sometimes the developing relationship drama is more compelling than the ghost camera.
In addition, after a few unsettling scenes, Delete adheres to the standard pattern of thrillers in terms of how some clues are revealed and who commits which evil acts. Yet, you can’t help but wonder where the show’s plot is headed. The summary sets the wrong tone, leading the reader to believe that Delete is a horror/thriller hybrid in which the camera foretells the doom of its characters, but, in reality, the series consistently produces characters who are more than capable of bringing about their own destruction. The phone is merely a convenient addition that you soon forget about.
Delete delves into the nature of humanity and morals, and it features several memorable scenes. The supernatural elements are few, and the thriller elements are scarce as well. It’s a gripping drama about the consequences of one’s decisions and the lengths to which people will go to satisfy their own desires. Although it is not the most awful show ever, its length becomes tiresome after a while.
