The third season of the popular Netflix show Dead to Me has finally arrived. The new season premiered on November 17, 2022, which is just two days after this article was written. The first season of the show came out in June 2019 on Netflix. After seeing how well it did, the tv series was renewed for a season 2, and season 2 came out on May 8, 2020. After that, fans had a lot of requests, and they wanted to know if there would be a third season.
Dead to Me is probably one of the best Netflix shows in recent years. It has more twists and turns than a slinky, and it’s more fun, too. Fans have been waiting for the third season since 2020. Now, though, Dead to Me season 3 is here, and fans want more like gossipy neighbors (especially after that ending). Will they get what they want? Is there going to be a fourth season of Dead to Me?
Dead to Me Season 4 Renewal Status
Sad to say, Dead to Me will end after Season 3. But the show did not get canceled. The show’s creator, Liz Feldman, said that she made a deal with Netflix to limit the number of seasons of Dead to Me. Feldman said to The Hollywood Reporter:
“I always had the sense that I wanted this show to be a relatively short-running one. I understand the landscape at Netflix. It’s very rare for them to have a show that goes five, six, or seven seasons. It can happen, but it’s obviously the exception. Halfway through shooting Season 2, an idea came to me that felt very true to the show – and I realized that it could be a really great way to end it.”

Dead to Me Storyline
Dead to Me is a show that is a dark comedy. Jen, a woman who just lost her husband, is going to therapy to help her deal with her loss. She meets a woman named Judy there, and the two of them become friends. They get close quickly because they both go to therapy for their losses, and their friendship is built on the fact that they both killed someone. Soon, the relationship takes a lot of crazy turns.
Jen was sad because her husband had been killed in a hit-and-run accident. Judy was sad because her fiance had died of a heart attack. Then the mystery is solved, and we find out that Judy was the driver who hit and ran. Jen is in a bad place, but Judy keeps a good attitude even when things don’t go her way. This difference between them makes them quickly become close. Jen’s mental health keeps getting worse as she looks into her husband’s death and Judy’s secrets.
Dead to Me Season 4 Release Date
Dead to Me isn’t coming back for a season 4. This is a fact. The show is over, and there isn’t any news about when a fourth season might come out. Fans of the show who wanted more of the dark comedy will be very upset by this news.
Fans of the show are expressing their disappointment on social media. Many people hope that the show will be picked up by another network or put on a streaming platform like Netflix. But it appears to look like Dead to Me is really dead for now.
Will there be a Dead to Me spin-off?
As was already said, Netflix originals don’t last very long. Very few shows make it past the fourth season. So far, there haven’t been any whispers or rumors about a spin-off. Applegate said goodbye to her co-stars and made it clear that the journey was over. On Instagram, she wrote, “I’m going to miss these women. But we thought this was the best way to bring these women’s stories to a close. Thank you to everyone who watched.”
