‘BTS In the Soop’ is a South Korean reality show that follows the members of the iconic K-pop boy band BTS as they take a break from their hectic schedules to live in a forest (soop). The series was developed by Big Hit Entertainment (formerly known as Hybe Corporation) and Big Hit Three Sixty after the band was forced to postpone their Map of the Soul tour because of the COVID-19 epidemic. The seven-part documentary chronicles the band’s exploits as its members indulge in pastimes and interests that would normally fall by the wayside due to their hectic schedules.
After the postponement of their world tour, BTS fans all around the world were incredibly appreciative of the event when it first premiered on August 19, 2020. Fans of BTS have expressed their admiration for the scenes in which RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook engage in their favorite hobbies and activities. As Season 2 comes to a close, fans are eager for news of what’s to come in Season 3. That being said, here is all we know about the third season of “BTS In the Soop.”
BTS In The Soop Season 3 Renewal Status
No, unfortunately! But that doesn’t exclude a comeback in the following round. The ratings for the first two seasons were quite good. The show received positive reviews and garnered a respectable viewership. However, Hybe Corporation/JTBC has not renewed BTS In The Soop for a third season. The likelihood of a season three renewal, though, is high. This is because Hybe decided to buy land in the hilly region of Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do, rather than continue renting the isolated villa. In addition, the production company has constructed three separate villas, each of which can accommodate up to seven guests.
It has all the posh comforts the band needs to relax and have fun on their getaway. With this purchase, the customer has shown a strong propensity to attend the performance again throughout its subsequent run. Fans would like to learn more about their favorite boy band and how they spent their time together in the isolated location, which is hinted at by the fact that the show has already been shown for two seasons. They can take a break from their hectic schedule and enjoy the entertainment.
BTS In The Soop Season 3 Release Date
Neither the network nor the production company has renewed the show for a third season as of yet. If the show is renewed in the middle of 2022, then its next season would premiere in the beginning of 2023. Season 3 of BTS In The Soop will return to the same format, giving viewers another chance to see their favorite idols unwind and recharge.
About BTS In The Soop
Since the Korean word for “forest” is “soop,” the premise of the show is that BTS is getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life and spending some time in a more tranquil, isolated forest area. The band members have no set plans while they are there and are free to enjoy a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities together and on their own, reflecting the series’ motto, “between everyday life and rest”. Without much help from the production team, they are free to do “things they didn’t do because they didn’t want to take the time off” or “couldn’t do because they [were] too busy.

BTS In The Soop Season 3 Plot
The BTS members start off the new season by looking back on the previous one. After being shown the premises, the group members retire to their accommodations. Their adventures in the kitchen and the great outdoors continue throughout season two. Karaoke sessions and V taking trumpet lessons online help the band keep their musical momentum going while they’re here. Members can play video games in the club’s state-of-the-art PC area or hit the courts for some outdoor competition on the basketball, volleyball, or tennis facilities. Season 2 ends with the band blowing off steam with fireworks and firecrackers.
If the show is picked up for a third season, it will likely continue to focus on the members of BTS as they pursue their many interests outside of the music industry. It’s possible that the band will take some downtime away from the show’s crew in order to recharge and refocus. They may be seen enjoying themselves by taking part in a variety of novel activities and amusements.
