The success of The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent anime can be attributed, in part, to the fact that it successfully mashes together two genres. Thankfully, there will be a second season of The Saint: The Magic Reins Supreme. Adding soft, reassuring Shoujo undertones, the plot takes the most breathtaking turn possible in an Isekai. The first season laid the groundwork for the character development of Sei, the show’s protagonist. Although the first season concluded satisfactorily, viewers are eager for a second run so they may watch Sei and the other characters develop.
Light novelists provided the inspiration for The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent. Kadokawa Books, an imprint of Fujimi Shobo, released it in 2017. Yuka Tachibana penned the light novel, and Yasuyuki Syuri drew the accompanying illustrations. Eventually, Seven Seas Entertainment had it translated into English and released it. The novel is still being written, but it has already been collected into eight volumes. The original volumes were used for Season 1. The announcement of The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent Season 2 was not unexpected, given the large amount of unfinished material.
