So far, only the band members of a Electric Mayhem are known to have been making an appearance. The most famous member is, of course, Dr. Teeth, this same red-haired keyboardist with green skin and a gold tooth.
His look is based on the keyboardist Dr. John, who also wrote the “Luv dat chicken” song for Popeye’s Chicken.
Dr. Teeth was played by Jim Henson at first, but now he is played by Bill Barretta, who is one of the people behind the Mayhem series and one of its producers and creators.
Animal, the band’s drummer, doesn’t need much of an introduction. The red muppet with straggly red hair and a chain round the his neck is recognised for his wild behaviour and Floyd Pepper’s constant need to keep john under control.
Animal used to be played by the famous Frank Oz, but now the role is played by Eric Jacobson. Floyd Pepper as well as Janice are on either side of him. Floyd Pepper is indeed the bassist with red hair and a red moustache. He wears a Sgt.
Pepper’s coat. Miss Piggy usually gives him a karate kick for being sarcastic. Matt Vogel now plays him. Janice is indeed the lead guitarist again for band.
