Of course, where games of chance are offered, Microgaming must not be missing. But despite all the fame and successes, the company is not resting on its laurels – quite the opposite. At least that is the impression one looks at the most recent trade fair appearances. Already at last year’s gaming fair SiGMA (Summit of iGaming Malta) gave Microgaming a deep look and presented some highlights of the technical development to its booth visitors. Microgaming and its developers are currently working on new ways to bring the popular games of chance more clearly to mobile devices.
But of course, that’s not all. The company’s new development departments recently opened in Ipswich. The so-called Switch Studios are intended to catapult Microgaming to the top of the industry – with innovative gaming ideas and creative game concepts. How this can look in the end is not yet clear, since the demos are still a long time coming, at least on the Internet. Only at the SiGMA were visitors able to gain insights.
Individual Gaming Experience for Each Player
What is certain is that Microgaming will keep what it has announced. The aim is namely to revolutionize the entire industry with disruptive technologies. Tom David, head of Switch Studios, is visibly proud of the developers’ first finished product and announced that more will follow soon.

The focus of the developers is clearly on mobile gaming or mobile gambling. The aim is to create an individual digital gaming experience for each individual player, regardless of the mobile device. Microgaming Launches New Online Blackjack Modes
Microgaming recently released the first two test games from Switch Studios. One was roulette and the other was American roulette.
The outstanding design and game graphics were particularly striking. To transport an image that is as realistic as possible and to ensure as few differences as possible between the real game and the digital display, Microgaming relies on 3D animation for the roulette games.
In terms of sound, the ball and wheel were in no way inferior to the real game. In the end, however, it should be more decisive that Microgaming has ensured with the latest game creation that it runs perfectly on mobile devices as well as can be played on the desktop screen.
