Starz’s gritty crime drama ‘Hightown’ follows National Marine Fisheries Service agent Jackie Quiones as her life takes a change when she comes upon the corpse of a murdered woman while drinking and doing drugs. Jackie’s recovery from alcoholism may be traced back to the chain of events that began with that shocking revelation. Two months later, production began, and while it took a long to wrap up, filming wrapped several months ago. Starz has said nothing regarding a possible premiere date.
Hightown Season 3 Cast
Garret Dillahunt, Jeanine Serralles, and Kaya Rosenthal have all been confirmed for Season 3 of Hightown, joining the returning core cast members and Monica Raymund. Season 3 of Hightown will include Monia Raymund’s return as Jackie Quiones, whose investigations drive the show. Amaury Nolasco, who plays drug boss Frankie Cuevas Sr., is anticipated to return, as is Atkins Estimond, who plays Cuevas’ deputy Osito, along with narcotics detectives Dohn Norwood and James Badge Dale.

Hightown Season 3 Plot
Jackie’s efforts to revenge Junior’s killing and prove herself as a policeman alongside her new partner, Leslie, are the main plot points of the second season. Her attempts to restore peace and tranquility in the community are jeopardized by Great White, a deadly new medicine on the market. Meanwhile, despite his setbacks, Ray does everything he can to rejoin the police service. Due to the unexpected course of events, both Daisy and Jorge perish. Charmaine is taken into custody at the conclusion of the second semester. In addition, the investigative group unearths the corpses, which ultimately leads to Frankie’s detention.
If the show is picked up for a third season, we may look forward to learning more about how Frankie’s experiences in Season 2 have affected her. Frankie may need to come up with a new plan to keep his drug business afloat in the wake of Jorge’s murder and Jackie and Alan’s attempts to clean up the town. Jackie and Alan are not going to let anything stop them from providing it their best, however. It’s possible that Ray’s past may be revealed in the third season. As of April 2023, we still don’t have a premiere date for Hightown Season 3.
Despite expectations that Season 3 of Hightown will premiere in early 2023, there has been no news or indication of its production as of this writing in April. Since Starz has already divulged its whole release plan, we know it won’t be arriving in March either.

Hightown Season Rating and Review
Anyone who is unfamiliar with the show and is interested in its quality may rest assured that it is above average. The program has a decent 6.6/10 rating on IMDb and an 80% rating from reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes. For sure, I’ll be watching this series. Look at what other people thought of it after you saw it if you still aren’t convinced to go.
Even if it makes a few people uncomfortable to watch, I’m glad they’re telling this story. It’s also important to remember that this is a major problem even if you live in an affluent area. Opiate addiction is a serious problem in the Cape Cod area. Those who say this is an exclusive program should know that even the well-to-do struggle with substance abuse.
