The online series Black Knight originates from South Korea. Cho Ui-Seok creates and directs the show’s script. Kim Woo-bin, Song Seung-Heon, Kang Yoo-seok, and Esom all have starring roles. It’s based on Lee Yun-kyun’s webtoon of the same name, which imagines a dystopian future in which a comet has decimated most of the planet, leaving the survivors to rely on elite delivery drivers. On May 12th, 2023, the first season became available to stream on Netflix.
Season one premiered on May 12, 2023. Fans of Black Knight can’t wait for the second season and are eager for whatever details they can get. We know you’re eager to learn more about Black Knight Season 2, so here you go!
Black Knight Season 2 Renewal Status
There has been made no word from Netflix yet on whether or not Black Knight will return for a second season. Since the show just premiered, though, there’s no need to worry. How the public reacts to the show will be a major factor in determining whether or not it is renewed.
The fact that Black Knight was adapted from a successful webtoon of the same name bodes well for the show’s future installments. However, the first season’s plot deviates so greatly from the webtoon that it may no longer serve as a guide for the second and third installments. A second season of Black Knight would require the showrunners to determine whether to continue the events of the first season or to branch out into new territory.
Black Knight Season 2 Release Date
Coming out on May 12th, 2023 The Black Knight is a phenomenon that has swept the television industry by storm. The comeback of Kim Woo-Bin has sparked widespread excitement among viewers, who like the show. Many theories have been floating around about a possible revival of the show. Black Knight Storyline
The story takes place in 2071 when air pollution has almost completely wiped out the Korean population. Everyone who is still alive has their own special oxygen mask and relies on the Knights to bring them food and supplies through a long and dangerous process. Given the current state of environmental degradation around the globe, the show’s premise is obviously absurd. The implications of treating nature so casually will be severe.
Finally, Sa-Wol, a young kid with his sights set on becoming a knight, meets the renowned knights 5-8. 5-8 recognizes the potential in the young lad and decides to take him under his wing to help him develop into a better knight.

Black Knight Season 2 Plot
At the end of season one, deliverymen 5 through 8 and their renegade deliveryman allies teamed up with Major Seol-ah to destroy a hierarchy that was killing and persecuting refugees. After Ryu Seok defeated his father, he and the all-powerful Cheonmyeong Group he led were toppled with the help of new recruit Sa-wol (or should we say 5-7 now).
When we had last seen Ryu Seok, he had set off an explosion in the central business area and was being consumed by flames. A regular person would perish in the searing heat of the flames, but Ryu Seok is no ordinary person. Certainly not at this time. His unexplained and ultimately fatal sickness may have been alleviated by the blood transfusion he got from the unwilling mutant Sa-wol. He too had apparently adopted some of the mutant’s genetic traits, as a flash of silver beneath a gunshot hole revealed.
We anticipate that if he is still alive, he will seek vengeance against 5-8, Sa-wol, and co. for foiling his nearly successful plot to purge Korea of refugees. The mutants would need a lot more attention in season two. Very little was revealed about what it means to be a mutant, the abilities mutants might have, or the possible population size of the mutant species. In season two, we want to learn more about their backstory and skills.
