Mike was last seen calling Yates to arrange to pick up Phoebe at a convenience shop. Phoebe and a few other murderers are brought to the scene by Yates. Mike utilizes the pyrotechnics as a cover as he drives his automobile through the structure. He fights off the robbers and slaughters them with hammers and butcher knives he finds in the shop.
He is abandoned by Yates, who takes Phoebe, leaving him alone with Laugher. She uses a paper clip to free her hands, then she strikes Yates in the face. If Krueger hadn’t intervened, Victoria would have strangled him to death with the wire. Mike is ready to execute Laugher when the latter collapses, apologizes, and admits that he is unable to control his actions and that Mike is, in fact, a superior agent.
Mike and Phoebe head outdoors to confront the SWAT squad and other armed troops when he discovers her. Mike uses the opportunity to propose to Phoebe. She agrees, but since they are both exhausted, the talk ends abruptly. Krueger leads Yates and Victoria into the wilderness and berates them for allowing Mike’s turn to lead to so many murders. Krueger murders Yates with a gun and is about to kill Victoria when she persuades him that Mike is an invaluable asset.
Mike and Phoebe seem to be enjoying a romantic getaway in the Philippines after being together for six months. As Phoebe watches a video, Mike leaves the front desk. Victoria and Petey keep an eye on her. Mike rides the elevator to his floor, where two Chinese goons are waiting for him, just as Victoria had planned.
