The conspiracy-based show Mike Myers created and hosts is a gold mine for admirers of his brand of humor. As many as eight different roles, Myers has been praised for his comedic performances on the show. The first season finishes on a mystical note; will there be a second? Get caught up on season 2 of ‘The Pentaverate’ with this primer.
The Pentaverate Season 2 Renewal Status
On May 5, 2022, the first episode of the first season of the Netflix dark comedic drama starring Michael Myers became available. There has been no official confirmation from Netflix regarding the possibility of a second season of The Pentaverate. It is not unusual for Netflix to evaluate the success of a show over a period of time before deciding whether or not to renew it.
The likelihood of this show being renewed, though, is low. We all know that the show’s 2019 premiere on Netflix was supposed to be the beginning of a limited run. On the other hand, it seems as though the show’s storyline wrapped up at the end of the first season. Therefore, viewers should stop watching the series immediately.
The Pentaverate Storyline
The series is based on the Mike Myers movie of the same name from 1993. Since the Black Plague in 1347, the show’s protagonists have been hard at work saving lives. Conspiracy theories concerning the era are presented on the show. Only the Pentaverate know the entire story of what happened when they wore that mask. But a Canadian journalist discovers this grim reality on assignment and is now committed to revealing all. The official logline for The Pentaverate is as follows:
“After influencing global events for centuries, a secret society faces a dangerous threat from within.” “Can a Canadian reporter save them and the world?”

The Pentaverate Season 2 Plot
In the pilot episode, Ken Scarborough’s character’s mind was downloaded into a super-intelligent computer. On the other hand, the titular cult, The Pentaverate, was broken up, and its members committed suicide as part of a complex “self-destruct” ritual. The Septaverate emerged to take its place.
Reilly and Patty are the brains behind the new underground organization known as the Septaverate. Ken Scarborough has joined The Septaverate in his role as the all-knowing cybernetic being Kentor. Bruce Baldwin, having survived his fall into an abyss, is currently lounging with a drink in his hand on a picturesque beach. It wouldn’t surprise me if in Season 2 of The Pentaverate, he plotted another global takeover conspiracy after being stripped of his power.
The Pentaverate Season 2 Release Date
Season 1 of ‘The Pentaverate’ debuted on Netflix on May 5, 2022. The first season’s six episodes, ranging in length from 21 to 31 minutes, premiered concurrently.
There have been no confirmations that production will continue on the show for a second season. Season 1 of the Netflix original series starring Mike Myers was ordered for six episodes in 2019. There was no mention of subsequent payments at the time, and that remains the case. As a miniseries, ‘The Pentaverate’ is expected to wrap up after a single season. Because of this, the possibility of a second season is greatly diminished.
Where can I watch The Pentaverate?
Season 2 of The Pentaverate, which stars Mike Myers as the lead and is directed by Myers, will also premiere on Netflix. Reportedly, Mike Myers has a committed relationship with Netflix. No other streaming service has announced that they will be carrying Season 2 of The Pentaverate.
The Pentaverate Season 2 Episodes
Since the first season of The Pentaverate premiered on May 5, 2022, and concluded with a total of six episodes, we can assume that the upcoming season of The Pentaverate will also have a total of ten episodes or more.
The Pentaverate Season 1 Rating
The show apparently did poorly on the streaming service. Netflix’s global top 10 list didn’t include it, and it only got 10.85 million viewers. FlixPatrol data shows that the show only lasted one day in the top 10 in the United States and the United Kingdom, and raw top 10 stats reveal that the show failed to break into international markets. The focus was on the number of viewers, but what about the critical reception? Joey’s group of buddies would describe the reviews as “abysmal.” The critical consensus is mixed (21% on RottenTomatoes), but so far, audiences have given it far higher marks.
