What happened at the end of Fleabag?
Season 2 of Fleabag concluded on a really moving note. Fleabag and Claire’s godmother and father are married at the beginning of the episode. Fleabag and the priest both wake up, and she gives back the sculpture she took from her godmother. Her godmother explains to her that the design came from her mom.
In the meanwhile, Claire explains to her husband why she miscarried and asks him to leave her. Claire’s father is getting married, and Fleabag is insistent that she pursue Klare. The priest performs the ceremony with grace, and thereafter he and Fleabag sit at a bus stop to declare their feelings for one another. Fleabag, however, is aware that the priest has made his choice and will follow a life of celibacy because of his devotion to God. After they split up, Fleabag tells the priest she saw a fox. After leaving the bus stop, Fleabag walks away.
