In these months we have seen how the adaptation film by Black Adam It has been taking shape. On the one hand I added Jaume Collet-Serra as director this summer, and in recent months the producer Hiram Garcia has confirmed a production by the end of 2020.
Now, actor Dwayne Johnson, who has been practically linked to the project for almost a decade, has confirmed a shooting start for next July. This announcement has been made indirectly in response to a tweet by the sculptor who has mentioned it in a publication next to a sculpture he has made of the character. Johnson has responded by thanking him for the detail.
I was so excited for TheRock to play Black Adam that I sculpted him as the 1/5 scale character, ”says sculptor King’s Letter.
Very cool uncle, thanks.
An incredible detail.
This project has been with me for more than 10yrs🖤⚡️
Production begins this July.
I appreciate the support.
All this fits with what they have always said, that Johnson would begin to focus on the Shazam arch nemesis movie once he finished with "Jungle Cruise", which premieres next July.
