La Reina del Sur Season 4 Storyline
Teresa Mendoza, a seemingly ordinary lady who falls in love with a guy involved with the Mexican cartels, is the protagonist of this novel. When said lover is put to death and Teresa flees in an attempt to save herself from the same fate, the plot starts to take form. She runs away to the south, only to find herself re-immersed in the same cycle of drug trafficking and other criminal activity.
After a string of unfortunate events, she chooses to take charge of her own company and succeeds. And the season illustrates the challenges she overcame on her path to power. The second season picks up around eight years after the first and continues to depict her secluded existence in Tuscany with her family. After her daughter is abducted, she is forced to return to the criminal underground and confront her demons in order to rescue her. In the third season, she is forced to return to the secret world after being separated from her daughter.
