With Android 10, Google has improved privacy in its operating system with new options, but also has hidden an interesting option that suddenly deactivates all the sensors of the device.
This option prevents applications from accessing all device sensors, including cameras and microphone. The hidden option is called Sensors disabled and to be able to use it we have to follow these steps:
Enable Developer Options
The previous step is to activate the Developer OptionsFor this we have to go to Settings> Phone information and press several times on Build Number until you tell us that the developer options have already been activated.
Enable icon Sensors disabled
The next step is to go to Settings> System> Developer options and in Icons for developers in Quick Settings activate option Sensors disabled.
Add Sensors Disabled in Quick Settings
The last step is to show the option 'Sensors deactivated' in the menu of Quick settings. To do this we open the quick settings panel and click on the Edit icon, we look at the bottom of the icon Sensors disabled and drag it in the position that we like the most.
Once configured, we just have to click on Sensors disabled to disable all device sensors such as cameras, microphones, accelerometer, light sensor, proximity, magnetometer, compass, gyroscope and barometer. GPS does not deactivateFor this we have to deactivate the option Location of the quick settings.
