Fire Force Season 3: Release Date, Cast, And Everything We Know Far

Today’s anime industry is booming because of the wide availability of brilliantly produced shows in virtually every possible genre. Anime covers a wide range of topics and storytelling styles, from shows about evil businessmen reborn as little girls and rising through the ranks of the military in an alternate version of World War I Germany (see: “Saga of Tanya the Evil”) to demonstrate about people who transform into an animal from the Chinese zodiac whenever they are hugged by a member of the opposite sex (“Fruits Basket”). We’d be remiss if we didn’t bring up “Fire Force,” an unusual show: It involves a firehouse and the idea of spontaneous combustion, and it stars a crew of firefighters.

The show centers on Shinra Kusakabe, a third-generation pyrokinetic who can set fire to his feet, and is based on the manga by “Soul Eater” author Atsushi Ohkubo. To combat infernals—humans who have undergone spontaneous combustion and become living flames—Shinra teams up with a group of pyrokinetics named Special Fire Force Company 8. By the time its second season concluded in December 2020, “Fire Force” had become one of Amazon Prime Japan’s top five most-watched anime TV shows. Fans have been waiting patiently for a new season of the popular show since then, so here is everything we know about Season 3 of “Fire Force.”

Fire Force Season 3 Release Date

The third season of the anime was officially confirmed on Twitter on May 16, 2022. The release date, however, has not been declared by David Productions. Season 3 is expected to release sometime in the summer of 2023. Season 2 of “Fire Force” debuted on July 4, 2020, and ran through December 12, 2020. It has a total of 24 episodes, each of which is exactly 24 minutes long.

Fire Force Storyline

In the imaginary world, The Great Cataclysm occurred two hundred fifty years ago. Half the planet was destroyed, and those who survived fled to the safety of the Tokyo Empire. Spontaneous human combustion was the killer plague that turned survivors into mindless beings known as internals.

To combat the rising number of internals, the Tokyo Empire in the year 198 recruited specialized firefighting forces known as the Fire Force. The protagonist of Fire Force, Shinra Kusakabe, has flaming feet. In a tragic house fire, he lost both his mother and little brother. It didn’t take long for him to find out that his brother was still alive but in the hands of the White Clad sect responsible for the Infernal attacks. They plan to control humanity by bringing about another Great Cataclysm, and Shinra’s mission is to prevent this from happening.

Fire Force Season 3 Characters

Shinra Kusabake, played by Gakuto Kajiwara, is one of the show’s main protagonists. Arthur Boyle’s Japanese voice actor is Yusuke Kobayashi. Aoi Yuki and Sarah Roach have provided their voices for the characters of Tamaki Kotatsu and Maki Oze. Iris, Sh Kusabake, Benimaru Shinmon, and Joker are some of the other major players in Fire Force.
The major protagonists are almost certainly going to return for a third season with the same level of influence and intensity as before.

Fire Force Season 3 Expected Plot

It’s only natural that everyone is antsy to hear what’s in store for us in Fire Force Season 3, given how long it’s been since we’ve heard anything about the show’s future. After the events of Season 2, viewers of Fire Force are understandably eager to find out what happens next, and they have many questions concerning the storyline of Season 3.

There is currently no information available on the plot of Season 3 of Fire Force. However, we are aware that the Fire Force anime has consistently followed the manga up to this point. If this is any indication, Season 3 of Fire Force will adhere to the manga’s storyline. If it occurs, we can probably predict Shinra’s third-season storyline. If you look at the publication dates of the anime and manga, you’ll notice that the first season of the Fire Force anime covers the first eleven volumes of the Fire Force manga.

The second season of the anime Fire Force covered the events of volumes 11–20. Since Okubo has hinted that the manga is nearing its conclusion, Season 3 of Fire Force will likely follow the plot of Fire Force Manga, beginning with Volume 20 and continuing until the manga’s conclusion, whenever that may be. That is unless Fire Force devolves into filler like Naruto and Bleach.

Season 2 of Fire Force hinted at a larger conflict between the Evangelists and Company 8, and we expect to see more of this in the forthcoming third season. To better handle the company’s more hazardous enemies, Shinra pushed himself to a new limit he dubbed “The Press of Death.” It’s likely that Season 3 of Fire Force will focus on the heroes’ efforts to recuperate from the many attacks they’ve been subjected to in preparation for the massive conflict that the narrative is implying.

Fire Force Season 3 Trailer

The next season has not yet had an official trailer released. However, as soon as it becomes accessible, we will post it here. Here is a trailer for the upcoming second season.

Where can I watch Fire Force Season 3?

It used to be that only Crunchyroll could license the show. The Southeast Asian version of the show was dubbed in English and streamed on Aniplus Asia. After that, the license was purchased by Hulu, Toonami, and Funimation. The upcoming third season of Fire Force will be accessible on Crunchyroll, Toonami, and Hulu thanks to Sony’s acquisition of Funimation. The English dub may air on Funimation, but that hasn’t been confirmed. Other than that, we don’t know much about the upcoming season.
